Getting Started
Signing up for Xuno is super easy. Let's walk you through it:
- Go to https://xuno.co/register.
- Enter your full name and email address, then click "Register."
- Check your inbox for a 6-digit OTP and enter it to verify your email.
- Create a secure password with at least 8 characters.
- You'll then have the option to add your phone number and verify it.
- Alternatively, you can sign up with Single Sign-On (SSO) using your existing Google or Apple account for quicker access. Simply click on the Google or Apple sign-in button and follow the prompts to link your account.
After signing up, you'll see a message on your dashboard prompting you to verify your personal details.
- Here's what to do:
- Click the "Add" button in your dashboard.
- Agree to the terms and conditions in the next page.
- You can verify the prefilled information and enter the rest of the fields accordingly.
- On the next screen, you will need to enter your SSN number to verify your identity.
- We keep your SSN fully encrypted and secure.
- Once done, click "Continue" to proceed.
You can add your recipient right after completing your identification details.
- There are two ways to add recipient details:
- Scan their bank account QR code (Available only on the mobile app)
- Enter manually, which requires their
- Full name
- Phone number
- Address
- Relationship to you
- Bank name
- Bank account number
Xuno securely links your bank account through Plaid, a trusted third-party provider. Here's how:
- After you have entered your recipient's details, you can click "Link Bank Account".
- You'll be redirected to Plaid; you can log in with your phone number or continue as a guest.
- Choose your bank name from the list and log in using your bank credentials.
- Verify your identity by entering the code sent to your mobile number.
- Select the bank account you'd like to connect.
- Agree to Plaid's terms and click "Connect Account Info".
- Your bank is now successfully linked to your Xuno account.
Once your bank is linked, you'll see an option on your dashboard to Set your PIN.
- Create a 4-digit PIN; this will be used to authorize all your future transactions.
- Keep your PIN secure and do not share it with anyone.
From your dashboard, click the "Send Money" button.
- Enter the amount you want to send and select your preferred delivery option (Instant, Same Day, Regular, and Best Deal).
- Choose your linked bank account or Xuno Virtual Account as the funding source.
- Select your recipient from the list.
- Specify the purpose of the transfer.
- Review your transaction on the confirmation screen.
- Click "Confirm" and enter your PIN to complete the transfer.
- That's it! Your transaction is now on its way.
Transfers and Payments
The Central Bank Rate, often called the Foreign Exchange Rate for Remittance set by Foreign Exchange Dealer's Association Of Nepal (FEDAN), is the rate used by banks in Nepal when converting USD to NPR for incoming remittances.
The delivery timeline depends on the transfer option you choose and the destination country.
- Nepal:
- Instant: Delivered within 10 minutes.
- Same Day: Delivered within 24 hours.
- Regular: Delivered within 2-3 business days.
- Best Deal: Delivered within 7-8 business days.
- Choose the option that best fits your needs: speed or savings.
Delivery dates are determined by multiple factors, including:
- The delivery method: Instant, Same Day, Regular or Best Deal
- Bank processing hours and weekends/public holidays in both the US and Nepal
Business days refer to Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays. Saturdays, Sundays, and any observed bank holidays do not count toward standard processing times.
- If a transfer is initiated on a non-business day or after banking hours, it will typically be processed on the next available business day.
This means your transaction is being processed through Real-Time Payments (RTP) rails - faster and more secure!. To complete your transfer in Xuno, please authorize it, you need to approve the request in your banking app or via the email sent by your bank.
Yes, to keep your transfers secure and comply with regulations; Xuno has the following limits:
- Per transaction: $10,000
- Daily Limit: $30,000
- Monthly limit: $75,000
Yes, With Xuno you can send more than $75,000 at once.
- To send a large-value payment over $75,000, you will need to contact our Customer Support team first at support@xuno.co or +1 (866) 356-1201.
As per Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) guidelines, for transactions over NPR 10,00,000, we are required to collect one of the following documents before delivering your funds:
- A bank statement from the last 3 months, or
- A document verifying the source of funds
- Our support team will contact you to collect the necessary documents. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Customer Support team at support@xuno.co or +1 (866) 356-1201.
You can check the status of your transfers on the Transactions page, accessible from the navigation bar. Each transaction will display its current status so you can track it in real time.
- Here's what each status means:
- Pending: Your transfer is being verified and is waiting to be processed.
- Canceled: Your transfer was canceled within 30 minutes of transaction initiation.
- Processing: Your transfer has been received and is moving through the banking system.
- Delivered: The money has been successfully deposited into the recipient's account.
Instant delivery transactions cannot be cancelled or refunded once they are processed. Refunds for other delivery types are only possible if the funds have not yet been delivered to the recipient's bank account.

Verification usually takes up to 24 hours to process. In some cases, it may take slightly longer if additional document checks are required.
Profile and Settings
To update your information, please contact our Customer Support team at support@xuno.co or +1 (866) 356-1201. They'll guide you through a quick process before making any changes on your behalf.
You can change your password anytime from your profile settings:
- On the web app: Click your profile icon in the top right corner.
- On the mobile app: Tap your profile icon in the bottom right corner.
- Select "Change Password."
- Enter your current password, then create and confirm your new one.
- Once you save the changes, your password will be updated immediately.
You can change your PIN anytime from your profile settings:
- On the web app: Click your profile icon in the top right corner.
- On the mobile app: Tap your profile icon in the bottom right corner.
- Select "Change PIN."
- Enter your current PIN, then create and confirm your new one.
- Once you save the changes, your PIN will be updated immediately.
Yes, you can link 4 active bank accounts to your Xuno account. To add another account, go to Banks in the Navigation Bar and click Link Bank Account. You'll be redirected to Plaid, our secure partner, to connect your bank account.
Go to Recipients in the Navigation Bar and click Add Recipient in the top right corner. You'll be asked to enter the recipient's personal information along with their bank details. Once you click Add Recipient, our system will start verifying the recipient's information.
To edit a recipient, go to Recipients in the Navigation Bar. Click the three dots next to the recipient's name and select Edit Recipient. You can update their personal details and bank account information.
- To delete a recipient, follow the same steps and select Delete Recipient. After confirming, the recipient will be removed from your account, and you won't be able to send money to them unless you add them again.
You can currently close your account only through the mobile app.
- Go to User Profile -> My Information.
- Tap "Close Account".
- Confirm when prompted to complete the closure.
- Your account will remain inactive for 90 days before it is permanently removed. If you wish to reactivate within this period, contact the Customer Support team at support@xuno.co or +1 (866) 356-1201. After 90 days, you'll need to register again to use Xuno.
Go to Transactions in the Navigation Bar to view your past 10 transactions. You can filter by transaction type and select a custom date range to see the transfers you want. If you want a detailed statement, contact our Customer Support team at support@xuno.co or +1 (866) 356-1201.
If you forget your password, tap "Forgot Password" on the login screen. You'll be asked to enter your registered email address. If it matches the one linked to your account. we'll send a password reset link to that email. Follow the link to create and confirm a new password to log back in.
If you're not receiving the OTP, first check your spam/junk email folder and ensure your phone has network coverage.

Security and Privacy
Xuno partners with trusted financial service providers, including Sila Inc. and Priority Commerce Technology Holdings, to handle electronic fund transfers and banking services securely. All user data is transmitted over encrypted channels and safeguarded with industry-standard security protocols.

We only collect the information required to verify your identity and process electronic fund transfers through our partners, Sila Inc, and Priority Commerce. Your identity and banking details are shared securely with these partners to support your account and are stored in encrypted databases. We never share your personal data with third parties unless required by law and always in accordance with the Partner Privacy Terms.
Yes, all transactions are monitored in real time for suspicious activity. If anything unusual is detected, additional verification may be required to protect your account.

Yes, Xuno supports biometric authentication on both iOS and Android, allowing you to log in and authorize transfers using Face ID or fingerprint recognition for added security.
Xuno Virtual Account
A Xuno Virtual Account (XVA) is a unique account with a dedicated account number and routing number assigned to you by Xuno for unlocking exciting features and banking beyond borders capabilities. You will receive the Xuno Virtual Account once you are verified in the system. You can load and manage funds easily in your XVA.
- Available Balance: Funds that are ready for use.
- Pending Balance: Funds that are still being processed.
- Note: You can only send money from your Available Balance.
To load money into your Virtual Account, click the Add Money button in your dashboard. Use your linked bank accounts in Xuno to load funds. If your bank is enrolled in Real-Time Payment (RTP) rails, you'll receive a transaction request in your banking app or email to approve the load transfer. Once approved, the funds will be instantly available in your XVA.
- If your bank is not enrolled in Real-Time Payment (RTP) rails, funds can take up to 24 business hours to appear in your XVA.
Yes, you can link up to 4 active US bank accounts to your Xuno account. You can load funds from any of these accounts, with the most recently used accounts set as the default.
Yes, to keep your transfers secure and comply with regulations; Xuno has the following limits:
- Per Transaction: $10,000
- Daily Limit: $30,000
- Monthly Limit: $75,000
If you attempt to load funds exceeding your daily or monthly limits, the system will notify you with an error message and prevent the transaction from proceeding. Please check your per-load, daily, and monthly limits on your dashboard.
Once funds are available in your Xuno Virtual Account, you can choose to send the funds immediately at the live exchange rate, or you can load your Send Now Convert Later envelope.
You can request a refund from your Virtual Account back to your bank account. The refund amount cannot exceed your Available Balance. For a refund, please contact our Customer Support team at support@xuno.co or +1 (866) 356-1201.
Send Now, Convert Later
Send Now, Convert Later (SNCL) is Xuno's exclusive product that lets you send money without converting it immediately. The funds are held in your Send Now Convert Later envelope, and you can choose when to convert them based on favorable exchange rates to maximize the value your recipient receives.
When you select the SNCL option:
- The amount you send is placed into your Send Now Convert Later wallet.
- You can monitor real-time exchange rates in your dashboard.
- When you see a favorable rate, you can trigger the conversion [either the whole amount or partial amounts]. Once converted, the funds are delivered to your recipient's account instantly.
There's no fee to load money into your Send Now Convert Later envelope. A conversion fee is applied at the time of conversion. The fee and final amount are shown clearly before you confirm the conversion.
You can hold funds in your envelope for 30 days from the day of envelope creation.
You can load $10 - $1000 per SNCL envelope, and you can have up to 2 active SNCL envelopes at a time. Once an envelope is fully converted, you can create a new one.
Yes. SNCL supports partial conversions. You can convert smaller portions of the envelope over multiple days as rates fluctuate. The remaining amount in an envelope should be $10.
Once you convert funds from your SNCL envelope, the amount is delivered instantly to the recipient's bank account.
You have complete control over when to convert. If you don't want to wait longer, you can convert at the current rate anytime.
You get the real-time bank buying rate at the moment of conversion. The dashboard also shows historical trends and the current Bank Rate to help you decide when to convert.
Refer and Earn
The Xuno referral program allows you to invite friends and earn rewards. When someone uses your referral code and completes their first transaction, both of you receive a benefit.
- Xuno referral program eligibility criteria:
- User must be verified.
- User must have completed at least one transaction on Xuno.
You can find your referral code on the Referral page, accessible from the dashboard through the gift icon or the referral banner or via Menu -> Offers -> Referrals. From there, you can copy the code or share it directly.
You receive a $25 reward, credited to your Xuno Virtual Account after your friend's first transaction is delivered.
As soon as your friend's transaction is successfully delivered using your referral code, your referral reward is credited to your Xuno Virtual Account (XVA).
You can track your referrals and rewards from the Track Referrals in Referral page. Reward statuses will also appear in your Xuno Virtual Account activity history.
Referral codes are valid only for new users who are initiating their first transaction. If a user has already made a transaction, the referral code will not be valid.
Referral codes are applied during the first "Send Money" transaction in the "Apply Coupon Code" field.
If you use a referral code on your first transaction, you receive a $5 benefit on top of the new customer offer, which will be shown in the transaction breakdown before confirmation.
A referral code may not work if:
- It doesn't exist.
- The code has already been used on your account.
Yes, you can apply the referral code to any delivery speed [Instant, Regular, and Best Deal] other than the new customer offer.

Yes, Xuno allows you to send money to both individual and registered businesses or organizations in Nepal. For business payments, the recipient's bank may require additional verification documents, such as a business registration or PAN certificate, before releasing funds.
No, your recipient does not need a Xuno account. The money is deposited directly into their bank account, making it simple for anyone to receive funds.
